Aalto Summer Research Internships - Internships at Aalto Science Institute

Every year, the Aalto Science Institute in Helsinki/Finland offers several research internships in the fields of Computer Science/Informatics, Mathematics, Medicine and Physics for Bachelor and Master' students. The internship typically takes place from late-May/early-June until the end of August, i.e. it usually lasts for three months and is conducted in English. Depending on experiences and qualifications, the interns are remunerated, so that living costs (incl. acommodation) are covered. The minimum salary is 1800€/month for Bachelor students, Master students earn more. In addition, a single fixed travel bonus is paid (400€ for those inside Europe).

Aalto University is one of the top universities in the Nordic countries and a long-standing partner of TU Munich. English is spoken at a very high level by many Finns, so communication on and off campus is easily possible.
