ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship, Zurich (SSRF)
Every year during the summer, the Computer Science Departement of ETH Zurich opens its doors to students participating in the Student Summer Research Fellowship (SSRF) program. This program provides students of the Informatics area the opportunity to gain some research experience in a field of their choice and to actively participate in research groups for new or existing projects.
The SSRF program takes place from July 1 until August 31 (it is not possible to move this time frame!). Bachelor’s and master’s students with an expected graduation date earliest during the spring semester the year after the 2-month fellowship are eligible. TUM students take on the responsibilty to plan their TUM degree thoughtfully with regard to the examination period at TUM in July/August. Please have a look at the mobility window section on TUM CIT Informatics for more advice on how to integrate a stay abroad in your TUM degree.
Fellows at ETH Zurich will receive a monthly allowance of about CHF 1.750 to cover housing (affordable housing during the research stay will be organised, once a candidate is accepted into the program) and living expenses. It is also possible to claim the travel costs against receipts at the beginning of the program.
The application period for a stay at ETH in the following summer lasts from November 1 until December 15. Your CV is part of the application, please use the Europass format .
