Summer KAI-X Research Internship Program KAIST, Korea

The KAI-X Research Internship Program of the KAIST Advanced Institute for Science-X (KAI-X) offers interested students the opportunity to complete a 7-week research stay in one of their research labs in summer 2025. The program is open to advanced Bachelor students (3rd/4th year) and Master students who are interested in scientific topics.

In 2025, the KAI-X Research Internship Program will take place from July 1, 2025–August 16, 2025. Please note that you are responsible for planning your TUM studies with the TUM CIT exam period in July/August in mind. Take a look at the mobility window website of TUM CIT Informatics for more advice on how to integrate a stay abroad in your TUM degree. 

If you have been accepted into the program, you will also receive financial support from KAIST, including for example grants for travel and living expenses.

The application period is from January 1, 2025–February 5, 2025, 24:00 Seoul Time (UTC+9). Please note that you will also need a letter of recommendation for the application, which you should take care of in advance.
