Research internship at the University of Alberta, Canada
Every year, our partner university in Canada, University of Alberta, is looking for interested students for several projects during the summer semester (May-August).
Usually, the application period is in September/October (currently: November 5, 2023). The respective dates will be updated yearly.
The research internship is open to Bachelor and Master students from TUM (you have to be enrolled at least in your 3rd year)!
If you get accepted, you receive an award of $6000 CAD from the University of Alberta, which will help cover the costs associated with participating in the 12-week program.
For further information on the research projects and the application process, please visit the central website of Alberta University in summer/fall.
There is also the possibility to apply for research projects which take place during the winter (January-April), but unfortunately this time period doesn't fit very well into the TUM study progress plan, especially in a Bachelor's degree. The application period for an internship during the winter semester is in July/August. TUM CIT Informatics recommends to apply in September/October for one of the projects in late summer (May-August).
