One Study - Two Degrees
Double Degree programs offer qualified students the opportunity to obtain both the TUM Master's degree in Informatics as well as a foreign Master's degree.
If you did your bachelor outside TUM you can only apply in your second master's semester as we first need a transcript of records of your first semester at TUM.
The aim of the Double Degree Programs at TUM CIT Informatics is to combine our own Master's program with the strengths of the academic study offered by the respective partner university. Therefore, there are no separate courses, but the student will combine the individual courses of the two universities.
A recognition of the courses abroad and the examination results of up to 30 ECTS is guaranteed. Individual study and credit transfer plans are to be discussed with Claudia Philipps.
The participants should complete usually two semesters studying at TUM (60 ECTS), two semesters abroad (60 ECTS) and then write a joint master's thesis (30 ECTS). Applications are possible in 6th Bachelor semester or with the start of 1st Master semester.
