Consultation for a Stay Abroad with ERAMUS+
We will be offering consulations hours on studying abroad within the ERASMUS+ porgramme (How, Where, When) for students of TUM CIT Informatics (includes: Academic Programs Informatics and Information Engineering (Heilbronn) after our online info event in mid-November.
The next info event of TUM CIT Informatics on the ERASMUS+ program takes place on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 18:15 (in German) & on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 18:15 (in English).

Application Deadline and Information Event

Important: Please have a look at the mobility window of your degree program in order to plan and integrate the stay abroad fittingly into your studies. We reccomend you to fill out your personal study progress plan, as it gives you a better overview and is also part of the application.
For further information on the application procedure of TUM CIT Informatics for ERASMUS+, SEMP, Double Degree and Partnerships overseas, please see Application procedure - ERASMUS +, Double Degrees and Partnerships (Departmental Programs) (differs from the central website of TUM Global & Alumni!). The ERASMUS+ application period for a stay abroad in the winter semester 2025/26 and/or summer semester 2026 begins in mid-December 2024 and lasts until Wed, Jan 15, 2025, noon.
NB: Please note that the regulations and conditions on TUM CIT Informatics websites from late November/early December 2024 apply, not the regulations and conditions of the TUM Global & Alumni Office. The ERASMUS+ website can be updated in small details until the application period starts.

Partner Universities of TUM CIT Informatics
In this section you can find the current, detailed list of all partner universities of TUM CIT Informatics as well as information on the language of instruction and the country's official language, subjects, subject areas in Informatics and the level of instruction.
Financial Support
In addition to the tuition fee waiver at the partner university, ERASMUS students also receive a partial ERASMUS+ scholarship.
Application Procedure - ERASMUS+, Double Degrees and Partnerships (Departmental Programs)
Information on application prerequisites, application documents, language tests, selection criteria, online procedure, etc. of TUM CIT Informatics. The deadline is always at the beginning of January/mid January for the entire, upcoming academic year!
Move-up Procedure
Did you start your Master's in the summer semester or a you a student of another department who didn't get a spot? If so, you can apply for the remaining spots of Informatics/Computer Science.
ERASMUS Program
The ERASMUS program was introduced by the EU in 1987 to promote student's mobility within Europe. Today it is part of the large EU education program "Lifelong Learning", with which study and internship stays can be funded. Fortunately, non-EU citizens have also been able to participate in the ERASMUS program since 2009.
