The program is flexible and other schedules can be discussed.
Students can take the course, project, or thesis option at GIT. We recommend to take either the course or the project option.
Since GIT does not offer any seminars or lab courses, these have to be taken at TUM.
Funding
Students have to pay all costs by themselves. The tuition and fees per semester are around 20.000$ (Overview Costs).
Stipends are given by the Fulbright Commission. These are highly competitive. You can find more information also in a report of a TUM student.

Application at TUM
TUM students must have finished at least one semester at TUM before they can apply at Fakultät für Informatik. Participation is possible for computer science master students (not for master students of information systems).
Required application documents:
- Application form
- Detailed vita (not handwritten)
- One letter of recommendation
- Copies of Bachelor certificate and transcript of records
- List of courses in the first master semester
- Toefl
- General GRE-Test
Send all documents electronically in a single PDF file to Michael Gerndt. Take into account that the required tests (Toefl and GRE) are given only a few times per year.
Students will be jointly selected by TUM and GIT.
Application at Georgia Tech
You will be informed about the acceptance of your application no later than December 15th. You then have to apply to Georgia Tech until February 1st via the online application system. For the application at GIT you need three recommendation letters.
Housing is available on Campus but have to be organized by yourself.
